Lucky Swimmer is not just any swimming school. We understand that swimming is an important life skill and it’s an excellent form of exercise. While stroke improvement and development are the bases of the Lucky Swimmer’s programs, we will also help build the confidence and self-esteem of every swimmer at our school. Being skilled and self-assured are necessary in life and in aquatic environments. We will also teach safety skills to ensure being around water is always a safe and pleasurable activity.

Our experienced instructors will ensure students are taught to the highest degree, in the safest and most comfortable environment. We have lessons for all types of swimmers, from beginner to advanced, from toddlers to adults. Lucky Swimmer is here to help anyone develop confidence in the water, improve swimming skills, overcome fears, or simply learn a new skill—all in a welcoming and knowledgeable atmosphere.
Teaches Bronze Medallion Award in an understanding of the lifesaving principles in four components of water rescue education – judgment, knowledge, skill, and fitness. Rescuers learn tows and carries, and defence & release methods in preparation for rescues of conscious and unconscious victims.Lifesavers develop stroke efficiency and endurance in a timed swim.
Provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid such as; medical, legal aspects, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns, and medical emergencies. Successful candidates will receive a CPR-C certification recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
The National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification is the standard measurement of lifeguard performance in Canada. This course is designed to develop sound understanding of lifeguarding principles, good judgement and a mature, responsible attitude toward the role of the lifeguard. The program emphasizes teamwork, leadership, communications, the prevention of accidents and the treatment of medical emergencies.
